30-Day Return Policy
At Bakcou, we stand by our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If your eBike or eligible eScooter isn't everything you hoped for, or if you decide you'd prefer a different model, we offer the opportunity for an exchange or refund within 30 days of delivery. To qualify, the product must be in new condition with fewer than 10 miles on the odometer and show no signs of wear or damage. A 15% restocking fee applies.
If you purchase Checkout+: Easy Returns, the cost of return shipping will be covered. Otherwise, you will be responsible for a $300 return shipping fee.
Please Note: The 30-day return policy applies only to Bakcou eBikes and eScooters. All eMoto sales are final and are not eligible for return or exchange.

To initiate a return, please use our Return Portal. Returns without prior authorization will not be accepted.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Bakcou warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal riding conditions and maintained according to the owner's manual and Bakcou's published guidelines.
This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a new product purchased directly from Bakcou or an authorized Bakcou dealer. The warranty is non-transferable and begins on the original date of delivery. This warranty applies only to products purchased within the United States and Canada.
Warranty Registration
To activate warranty coverage, register your product within 45 days of delivery. Registration allows Bakcou to verify ownership and provide faster warranty support.

eBike & eScooter Limited Warranty
All Bakcou eBikes and eScooters, excluding the Badger, are covered by a one (1) year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase.
Lifetime Frame Warranty
Bakcou eBike and eScooter (excluding the Badger) frames are covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in the structural frame. To qualify, the original owner must register the eBike within 45 days of delivery. This warranty remains in effect for as long as the original owner owns the product.
The Lifetime Frame Warranty applies only to Bakcou eBikes. It does not apply to eMotos or eScooters and does not cover cosmetic damage, crash damage, corrosion, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or modifications.
eMoto Limited Warranty
Before operating your eMoto, please read the owner's manual provided with your purchase. It contains important information regarding assembly, operation, maintenance, and safety.
To activate warranty coverage, register your eMoto within 45 days of delivery.
All eMoto sales are final and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Bakcou eMotos are covered by a one (1) year Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, all warranty exclusions, claim procedures, customer responsibilities, and warranty limitations outlined below also apply to Bakcou eMotos.
Badger eScooter Limited Warranty
The Badger eScooter is covered by a thirty (30) day Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Unless otherwise stated, all warranty exclusions, claim procedures, customer responsibilities, and warranty limitations outlined below also apply to the Badger.
What's Covered
During the applicable warranty period, Bakcou will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any component determined to be defective due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Covered components include, but are not limited to, the motor, battery, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, suspension, forks, Rohloff gear hub, stem, handlebars, headset, seat post, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hubs, freewheel, derailleur, shifter, throttle, kickstand, and other factory-installed mechanical and electrical components.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover normal wear or damage resulting from use.
What's Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or consumable items, including tires, brake pads, chains, cassettes, grips, bearings, cables, tubes, or similar wear items.
This warranty also does not cover cosmetic damage, crash or impact damage, water damage, improper storage, improper assembly, improper maintenance, commercial or rental use, racing, stunt riding, neglect, abuse, acts of God, operator error, or damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions in the owner's manual.
Battery damage resulting from power surges, the use of an improper charger, improper maintenance, misuse, normal battery wear, or water damage is not covered.
This warranty does not cover products that have been altered, modified, repaired by unauthorized service providers, or fitted with parts or accessories not originally intended or approved by Bakcou. Any unauthorized modification may void warranty coverage.
This Limited Warranty applies only to products purchased new directly from Bakcou or an authorized Bakcou dealer and does not extend to secondhand purchases or products sold by unauthorized sellers.
Warranty Claims
If you believe your product has a warranty issue, please contact the Bakcou Technical Support Team.
To begin a warranty claim, please provide:
- Proof of purchase
- Product serial number
- Photos and/or videos of the issue
- A description of the problem
Bakcou may request additional information before approving a warranty claim.
If Bakcou determines that a covered component qualifies for warranty replacement, instructions will be provided for receiving the replacement component and returning the defective component when applicable.
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty claims unless otherwise approved by Bakcou.
If warranty repairs require professional installation, labor reimbursement must be approved by Bakcou prior to service.
Warranty Limitations
Bakcou reserves the sole right to determine whether a product or component qualifies for warranty coverage.
Repair or replacement of defective components is the exclusive remedy provided under this Limited Warranty.
If a credit card chargeback of any amount is issued on an order, the Limited Warranty for that order will be paused until the chargeback has been resolved and the order has been paid in full.
Shipping Damage Claims
Products should be inspected immediately upon delivery. Freight damage claims are extremely time-sensitive and will not be accepted more than three (3) business days after delivery.
Please note any visible damage on the Bill of Lading before accepting delivery and signing for the shipment. Take photographs of any damage as soon as possible and report freight damage to Bakcou within three (3) business days of delivery.
