In addition to the Bafang Ultra M620 mid‑drive motor, the Jäger is upgraded with a 14‑speed Rohloff internal gear hub, which delivers unmatched climbing ability, smooth shifting and rock‑solid reliability in rugged terrain. It combines a full‑suspension chassis, fat‑tire traction and an integrated 48 V 21 Ah battery for long‑range performance.

The Rohloff hub provides a 526 % gear range and allows you to shift even while stationary—a big advantage when stopping on steep hills or in thick timber. Because all of the gears are sealed inside the hub, there are fewer moving parts exposed to dirt and debris. Riders enjoy improved efficiency, low maintenance and whisper‑quiet operation.

The Jäger is rated to carry 350 lb of rider and gear. It is offered in a 19‑inch frame, which suits riders 5′ 10″ and taller. Fat‑tire traction and a full‑suspension setup ensure a comfortable ride even when the bike is loaded down. The rear suspension can be locked out when towing heavy loads.

Yes, with a special axle. The Scout Jäger is not ready to be used with an eBike trailer straight out of the box. To tow a cargo or deer cart, you must purchase an aftermarket rear axle available from Bakcou. Reach out to our customer service if you have questions about which axle you will need.

Bakcou stands behind every fat‑tire electric bike we build. All models come with a 30‑day return policy—return or exchange your eBike within 30 days of delivery if it’s in new condition (under 10 miles and no wear). A 15% restocking fee and $300 return shipping apply, and you must get authorization first. We also provide a lifetime warranty on the frame for the original owner and a one‑year limited manufacturer warranty covering core components such as the motor, lithium‑ion battery, suspension, drivetrain, and electronics.
