Scout eBike: Full Suspension Fat Tire Electric Bike

Bakcou’s first sport‑trail full‑suspension fat‑tire e‑bike, the Scout combines the geometry and agility of the Storm and Carbon Alpha with the raw power of Bafang’s Ultra mid‑drive motor to create an all‑terrain machine for hunters and trail riders. The heart of the Scout is Bafang’s Ultra M620 mid‑drive motor, which can be set to 750 W (Class 1/2/3) or 1 000 W (unlimited) modes and delivers up to 160 Nm of torque—often dubbed the “diesel engine” of e‑bike motors. This smart motor features sensors for cadence, speed, and torque, providing a natural pedalling feel and adjusting power instantly when you climb, accelerate, or shift gears.

The Scout’s full‑suspension frame is crafted from lightweight 6061‑aluminium and pairs a 140 mm air‑fork up front with a RockShox Monarch rear shock, smoothing out rocky descents and technical climbs. Maxxis Minion 26 × 4.0 inch tires provide fat‑tire flotation on loose surfaces, while the bike’s slack head‑tube angle and unique geometry give it nimble handling despite its aggressive stance. Power comes from an integrated 48 V battery available in 17.5 Ah or 21 Ah capacities.

Trail‑ready components ensure confidence on rough backcountry routes. An 11‑speed SRAM NX drivetrain with a 40‑tooth chainring and 11‑42‑tooth cassette delivers smooth shifting and optimal cadence. Tektro quad‑piston hydraulic brakes clamp 203 mm rotors for reliable stopping power. A removable left‑thumb throttle plus Bakcou’s On‑Demand Program (ODP) display lets riders switch between Class 1/2/3 or unlimited modes. Together, these features make the Scout a versatile hunting and trail e‑bike capable of backcountry scouting, overlanding, and all‑day exploration.
