The Kodiak SD AWD is a high‑performance AWD e‑bike built for hunters, anglers, and outdoor adventurers who need unmatched traction in all conditions. Instead of a single mid‑drive motor, the Kodiak packs two 750 W Bafang hub motors, one in the front wheel and one in the rear. Each motor generates 85 Nm of torque and uses torque‑sensing technology, giving you the freedom to power the front, the rear or both wheels simultaneously. Whether you’re slogging through snow, mud or sand, the popularKodiak’s switchable AWD system transforms any trail into your personal hunting ground.

Built on an aircraft‑grade 6061‑aluminum frame with a 26‑inch fat‑tire platform, the Kodiak SD AWD combines stability with carrying capacity. Its integrated 52 V 20 Ah lithium‑ion battery provides serious range, and a modular quick‑release rack lets you add a second 15 Ah or 20 Ah battery for up to 40 Ah total capacity—ideal for long hunts and multi‑day expeditions. A SRAM NX 9‑speed drivetrain and removable thumb throttle deliver precise control, while Tektro HD E725 quad‑piston hydraulic brakes clamp 203 mm rotors for confident stopping. The 100 mm helical spring front fork, shock‑absorbing suspension seat post and oversized 26 × 4.0 in Maxxis Minion tires soak up ruts and rocks, keeping you comfortable when the trail gets rough. Like the rest of Bakcou’s Super Duty lineup, the Kodiak SD AWD features an integrated stem display with the On‑Demand Program (ODP) that allows riders to choose Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 or unlimited settings. You can also add Bakcou Connect technology (optional) to track, lock, and monitor your bike via smartphone. Together with a modular rear rack for baskets or panniers and US‑made components, this AWD e‑bike is ready to haul gear, tackle steep grades and go farther than conventional hub‑drive bikes.

The bike uses two Bafang 750 W hub motors—one in the front wheel and one in the rear. Each motor produces 85 Nm of torque and features torque‑sensing technology. You can choose to run the front motor, the rear motor or both simultaneously, giving you true all‑wheel‑drive capability and optimal traction on snow, mud and sand.

While not possible to give a precise single‑charge range for any bike because your mileage will depend on factors like terrain, elevation, rider weight, wind, temperature and the level of assist or throttle you use, we can offer a ballpark estimate: with a single battery most riders see around 40–60 miles of real‑world range, and with a dual‑battery setup you can extend that to over 100 miles. Think of these numbers as general guidance rather than guarantees because actual range will always vary based on how and where you ride.

The included 52 V/4 A smart charger will recharge the 20 Ah battery in about 4–5 hours from empty. Charging times may be slightly longer if you add a second battery.

The Kodiak SD AWD is built for off‑road use. Its 26 × 4.0 in Maxxis Minion fat tires, dual hub motors and 100 mm helical spring front suspension handle sand, snow, mud, rocks and steep climbs. The removable thumb throttle and SRAM NX 9‑speed drivetrain give you fine control on technical trails.

Bakcou Connect is optional on the Kodiak SD AWD. For an additional fee, you can add this connectivity package, which lets you track your bike’s location, lock it remotely and monitor battery health via smartphone. The first year of service is free; a subscription fee applies afterward. This feature must be added at checkout.

For all of our ebikes, we stand behind your purchase with a one‑year limited manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty starts the day you receive your bike and covers major components like the battery, frame, motor, controller, wiring harness and LCD display. To activate your coverage, be sure to register your bike within 30 days of delivery; the warranty is valid only for the original owner and can’t be transferred. It protects you against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship but doesn’t cover normal wear, misuse or modifications.
