Weber County Fair || More than a Fair
Bakcou is heading to the County Fair! The Weber County Fair is being marketed as “more than a fair” and it really is. Not only are there some of the more traditional events you are used to seeing at a county fair but there is much more!
For one, this is the first year the fair will be hosting an Outdoor Expo. We are excited to be there with other members of the outdoor community. We will be showing off our bikes and accessories. It will be a great time for anyone to have the opportunity to test out a Bakcou bike.
Apart from the Outdoor Expo there will also be Rodeo events. Just before the fair officially starts the Utah Youth Rodeo Association will be doing there finals on August 10th. Then during the fair there will be another Rodeo presented by Broken Heart Rodeo Company. They have been producing professional rodeos since 1990, it is sure to be an amazing show!
For those willing to pay a little extra you can get tickets to the Demolition Derby. On Saturday night Stirrin’ Dirt Racing will be destroying cars for everyone’s entertainment. There will be multiple drivers rushing around trying to cause as much damage to the other cars as possible!
And all around the grounds there will be loads of other entertainment. From antique tractors to magicians to a petting zoo there is something for everyone. I am excited to see some of the local bands that will be playing throughout the four days of the event.
This year the fair will be taking place from Wednesday, August 11 to Saturday August 14. All of this will be happening at the Weber County Fairgrounds: 1000 N. 1200 W. Ogden, UT 84404 (Take exit #346 off the freeway). The fair will start every day at 11am and go until 11pm, so wear your comfy shoes!
There are a lot of different ticket options for the fair. They are selling single day tickets, tickets for all days of the event and even family pack options. Look here to see more information on tickets. If you are military you can receive free entrance with ID, plus one guest each day of the fair.
I know I am excited to eat my fair share of corndogs and see what all the Weber County Fair has to offer. While you are enjoying the fair make sure to stop by the Bakcou tent and say hi, we can’t wait to meet you!
