OGDEN, UT — Today, Bakcou announced the launch of their new Bakcou Kodiak AWD electric fat-tire mountain bike. Constructed with high-end components included on their award-winning eBikes, the Kodiak AWD also features two powerful hub motors, resulting in an electric backcountry bike ready to tackle any trail condition. 

Bakcou engineered a bike capable of handling hills, mountains, and winter terrain. “We wanted to design an eBike for our audience that provides them with the flexibility to switch power from the rear wheel to the front wheel, or to utilize the motors on each wheel at the same time,” explains Bakcou co-founder, Dave Andre. “The dual hub motor system will allow for better stability no matter what Mother Nature might throw your way.” 

Bakcou combined the power and performance of Bafang’s 500W hub motors with the same bulletproof aluminum alloy frame and top-of-the-line components that users expect from Bakcou eBikes. Where most fat tire eBikes include only a 17ah battery, the Kodiak AWD comes standard with the largest eBike battery on the market at 25ah. There was no element of quality overlooked in the Kodiak AWD.
